Frecuently ask questions

How do I prepare the Pastelitos?

You can cook them directly from frozen in the air fryer at 375°F or in the oven at 500°F for 8-10 minutes, until they’re golden brown and the filling is hot. Detailed instructions are included on the back of each package.

Can I use the microwave to reheat them?

While the pastelitos can be heated in the microwave, we recommend using the air fryer or oven for the best crispy texture. If you’ve already cooked them and just want to warm them up later, the microwave works fine.

Do the Pastelitos contain gluten or nuts?

Our pastelitos are made with all-purpose wheat flour and do not contain any nuts in the dough, fillings, or oil.

Do you have dairy-free or animal product-free options?

Yes, the Beef, Chicken, Chicken Chipotle, Vegan Veggie, and Apple Pie pastelitos are dairy-free. The Vegan Veggie pastelitos are also egg-free and contain no animal products.

Do you offer pastelitos with different flavors?

Each package contains 6 units of a single flavor.

Are the Pastelitos raw inside?

No, the fillings are fully cooked, and the dough is pre-cooked.

How much is shipping and how long does it take?

Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on your location and order size. Typically, orders are shipped on Fridays and arrive in 2 to 3 days.

Do you offer pickup or ship sweets outside of the state?

We currently don’t offer pickup from our location, but you can pick up your order at the City Market or Lenexa Farmer’s Market. Unfortunately, we don’t ship our sweets outside of the state.

Do you offer catering or wholesale sales?

Yes, we offer catering services with at least two weeks' notice. We also provide wholesale orders. Contact us for a quote at info@bekyfood.com, or visit our contact page for more details.

Do the sauces need refrigeration, and how else can I use them?

Yes, the sauces should be refrigerated before and after use. They can be enjoyed with a variety of foods like fries, fried chicken, hamburgers, hot dogs, tacos, and more.
